What New Releases Are Coming In November?

Some highly anticipated, eagerly awaited releases are set for November, and those new releases will be led (mostly) by re-issues and 'live' recordings...

There'll be new studio efforts coming from BOB SEGER, whose album I Knew You When will mark Seger's 49th Anniversary with Capitol Records, making him the longest-tenured recording artist with any record label ever! Songs of Experience is the new one from U2 and is the follow-up to the band's Songs of Innocence, which was dropped into people's iTunes accounts back in 2014. And get set for the next archival set from BOB DYLANTrouble No More-The Bootleg Series, Vol. 13, 1979-1981

There's a veritable boatload of re-issues in November, with the crown jewel (IMO) being METALLICA's 30th Anniversary Deluxe set of Master of Puppets, due November 10th. Other noteworthy re-releases include The EAGLES’ Hotel CaliforniaQUEEN's News of the World, and The DOORS' 2nd album, Strange Days

And there are plenty of live recordings on the way, both on CD and DVD! Leftoverture Live & Beyond from KANSAS lands November 10th along with STING’s Live at the Olympia Paris (DVD) and TOMMY BOLIN’s [Deep Purple] Northern Lights – Live 9-22-76. The live chronicle Black Sabbath: The End (DVD+CD) will be available November 17th and features the very last recording of the heavy metal pioneers in concert. Also on the 17th comes Jeff Lynne's ELO’s Wembley or Bust, PINK FLOYD's Delicate Sound of Thunder (vinyl), & IRON MAIDEN's Book of Souls-Live Chapter
