Watch Eddie Vedder Surprise Audience with Pink Floyd Cover

March 21, 2017

Red Hot Chili Peppers fans were in for a treat on Saint Patrick's Day.

Jack Irons (the first Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer and one-time drummer for Pearl Jam) opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers, but the Pearl Jam frontman, Eddie Vedder, joined Irons on stage, surprising the Seattle audience with a cover of Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond."

At this point, Vedder is becoming known for his unannounced appearances in Seattle, having joined Bruce Springsteen at his Seattle show and The Sonics at their Record Store Day show, but surprisingly not at the Seattle weekend of Temple of the Dog.
