Ah, Halloween—the one night out of the year where it’s completely acceptable for adults to dress up and pretend to be someone or something they’re not. Love it or hate it, you’re going to see people in costume, and sometimes, the people in costume just happen to be your favorite band.

It may not be Thursday, but we’re throwing it back to Pearl Jam’s 2009 concert at The Spectrum in South Philadelphia. The Philly sports arena and music venue was set to close its doors in late October that same year, but not before going out with a bang.

On Halloween night in 2009, Pearl Jam played the final show at The Spectrum, closing out a four-night run at the venue. And, being Halloween and all, they came out for an encore dressed as Devo to perform a cover of their classic: “Whip It.” Check it out below!
