On November 17, The Doors will release the 50th anniversary deluxe edition of their second album, Strange Days. Now, just about a month away from the album’s arrival, they’ve re-released a rarity: the fittingly bizarre video for the album’s title track. Watch below!
The 2-CD deluxe edition was produced by Bruce Botnick, who also produced the original. Not only will the set include the original stereo mix of the album (remastered) but also the original mono mix (on CD or 180-gram vinyl), personal notes from Botnick, liner notes by David Fricke (music journalist), and a collection of rare and previously unseen photos.
