Move over, Jimmy Kimmel—there’s a new host in town. We know the show’s called Jimmy Kimmel Live and everything, but … Dave Grohl.

The Foo Fighters frontman hosted last night’s episode dressed as David Letterman because … Halloween. And because Halloween on Kimmel means making kids cry, Grohl did the honor of introducing another round of “I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy.” You can catch that below, as well as a slew of clips from the episode.

First, there’s Grohl’s opening monologue. Next comes his interview with Kristen Bell, followed by their performance of her Frozen song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman,” which bled into Metallica’s “Enter Sandman,” all for the sake of Grohl’s daughters. After that, Grohl interviewed shock rocker Alice Cooper, who talked about his post-rehab experience with Joe Perry in manager Shep Gordon’s haunted house, meeting Colonel Sanders and clearing up the chicken-killing legend, and the pre-show rituals of Peter Frampton and Roger Daltrey.

We can assure you, it’s all worth the watch.
