Bands often save the best for last, waiting to play some of their most beloved songs until the encore. But Paul McCartney gave Friday night’s Madison Square Garden audience a different take on the encore, bringing out none other than Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band member Steven Van Zandt to help him sing the Beatles classic “I Saw Her Standing There.” Twice.
Watch the legendary acts come together in the performance below!
Apparently the last time McCartney and The Boss played together was back in 2012 at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in London’s Hyde Park. But as the pair played “Twist and Shout” and “I Saw Her Standing There,” the power apparently cut out thanks to Hyde Park’s noise curfew.
