In 2015, just months before he died, Lemmy Kilmister recorded what would become his final solo recording.

The song, “We Are The Ones,” is a collaboration with Chris Declercq, a Swiss guitarist who met Kilmister by chance in 2005 at Hollywood’s Rainbow Bar & Grill. Kilmister must’ve been impressed by the demo CD Declercq handed the late Motorhead frontman because the two would eventually go on to work on a song together. Hear that very song below.

Interestingly enough, the song was finalized in Dave Grohl’s Studio 606. For a little more background on how “We Are The Ones” came together, check out the mini documentary (below) featuring Declercq and more.
