The Beatles' 'Yellow Submarine' Will Soon Hit the Shelves as a Comic Book

Comic nerds, rejoice! In honor of the film’s upcoming 50th anniversary, The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine will be made into a comic book with Titan Comics.

The movie, which was originally released in July 1968, tells the animated tale of George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr in their efforts to save Pepperland from the Blue Meanies. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comic will retell that exact story.
Incoming MAD Magazine editor Bill Morrison is set to write and illustrate the book, which will be released sometime in 2018.
