Legendary musician Walter Becker has passed away at the age of 67. Becker is best known as one half of the founding members of Steely Dan.

Becker and Steely Dan co-creator Donald Fagen moved to California in the 70s to form the iconic band. While they rotated musicians in and out over the years, Becker and Fagen were the constants, producing a catalog of hit songs and albums.

According to Rolling Stone, Becker missed Steely Dan's Classic East and West concerts in July due to an unspecified illness. So far, no cause of death or further details have been public regarding Becker's passing.
