Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson Looks Back at a Busy Life in New Memoir, "What Does This Button Do?"

July 28, 2017

Bruce Dickinson, best known as the lead singer for Iron Maiden, is also a world-class fencer, an airline pilot, motivational speaker, beer brewer, novelist, TV actor, and screen writer. Whew! That’s one BUSY life! And now, the multi-talented Mr. Dickinson will revisit all of these many great accomplishments and more in an upcoming memoir that will be titled, “What Does This Button Do?,” scheduled for publication in mid-October.

According to the press release from publisher, HarperCollins/HarperNonFiction, “Bruce shares, for the first time, the most fascinating recollections, including his 30 years with Maiden, the early days, his childhood within the eccentric British school system, going solo and realizing his dream of flying jumbo jets.” The publication of Dickinson’s book should be of huge interest as the singer has remained famously “guarded’ about his personal life, and finally, with that curtain on his personal life pulled aside for all to see, the revelations about his childhood and his experience as a family man should be of great interest to his legion of fans.
