A 15-minute version of Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive” will be released as a 12” single just in time for Record Store Day.

According to this Facebook post by The Future Heart (dug up by Consequence of Sound), it’s possible that the 1968 Anthony Stern documentary, San Francisco, included the original 15-minute track. This is all speculation, but either way, it’s still worth a listen below.

Not only will the previously unreleased 1966 track be available on April 22nd (Record Store Day) but fans can also nab London 1966-1967, which, according to the Record Store Day website, includes “the first studio recordings from the classic ‘60s Pink Floyd line up.” The limited-edition record will be available on 12” picture-disc vinyl.
