KISS Sells Misspelled T-Shirts at Ohio Concert

The city name that proved tricky

September 3, 2019

KISS wanted to make an impression with the locals when they stopped in Cincinnati during their End of the Road tour, but you know what they say about best-laid plans.

A t-shirt designed specifically for fans in Ohio’s Queen City unfortunately contained a misspelling of Cincinnati. The shirt had an extra “t” at the end – a common mistake – but not something KISS die hards would want to spend $50 on.

Some are hoping the error turns into a collector’s item and are hoping to cash in. We found one of the t-shirts on ebay with a current bid of $400.

Bassist Gene Simmons recently celebrated his 70th birthday on the tour that keeps on going. The “Rock and Roll All Night” band has several U.S. dates remaining before heading to Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
